We mainly focused on climate change and coastal community issues in Bangladesh. We connect with people locally and globally through our wide-ranging and high-quality multimedia news, information, and entertainment content.
Lakshmipur24 covers local news and produces feature stories and short documentaries. We pledge to be independent and critical, and we promote transparency and human rights.
We started our journey in 2012. In 2015, we applied for registration with the Ministry of Information of Bangladesh and were included in the list. lakshmipur24 is Locally known as Lakshmipur news or #LakshmipurNews
Its head office is at #Lakshmipur. Lakshmipur is a coastal district of Bangladesh (লক্ষ্মীপুর জেলা, Lakshmipur Jela also Lakshmipur Zila). This district’s name spelling is tree types such as lakshmipur or laxmipur or luxmipur.
By Lakshmipur24 local people of Coastal Bangladesh get various information about their life and livelihood. Lakshmipur24 also publishes printed editions on local history, heritage, education, and culture.
It publishes research journals to cover local issues. The first initiative of the printed version of “Lakshmipur Diary“ (লক্ষ্মীপুর ডায়েরি). Se Jon Bahadur ( সে জন বাহাদুর) the theme song of the Laxmipur district is another special initiative of Lakshmipu24.
22 Journalists and contributors are working regularly and irregularly at Lakshmipur24. The leader of the journalist team is publisher and editor Sana Ullah Sanu. He is doing environmental and climate journalism for The Business Standard, an English language daily from Bangladesh.
