Lakshmipur24 | is a coastal community-based digital news organization from Bangladesh. We mainly focused on climate change and coastal community issues in Bangladesh. We connect with people locally and globally through our wide-ranging and high-quality multimedia news, information, and entertainment content.
Lakshmipur24 covers local news and produces feature stories and short documentaries. We pledge to be independent and critical, and we promote transparency and human rights.
Lakshmipur24 started in 2012 locally known as LakshmipurNews. Its head office is at #Lakshmipur which is also known as laxmipur or luxmipur. Lakshmipur is a coastal district of Bangladesh (লক্ষ্মীপুর জেলা, Lakshmipur Jela also Lakshmipur Zila).
By Lakshmipur24 local people of Coastal Bangladesh get various information about their life and livelihood, local history, heritage, education and culture.
A research journal name “Lakshmipur Diary“ (লক্ষ্মীপুর ডায়েরি), Se Jon Bahadur ( সে জন বাহাদুর) the theme song of the Laxmipur district is special initiative of Lakshmipu24.
29 Journalists and contributors are working at Lakshmipur24. Sana Ullah Sanu the leader of the team. He is doing environmental and climate journalism for The Business Standard, an English language daily from Bangladesh.
